When using Directory Synchronization with Office 365 it can be difficult to update user and group attributes synchronized from the local Active Directory, if you were previously running Microsoft Exchange on-premise. 365 Command AD Extensions Functionality

365 Command Active Directory (AD) Extensions allows you to update user and group attributes directly through Active Directory Users and Computers. Once you install the 365 Command AD Extensions, the following tabs (Fig.1) will appear on User and Group objects in Active Directory.

You can use these 365 Command AD Extensions Addin tabs to :

  • Update/Set delivery restrictions
  • Update/Set email addresses
  • Update/Set address book visibility
  • Update/Set user’s photo
  • Assign licenses to accounts
